in hypershade cameras>...then in attribute editor...click environment

in maya soft ware and mental ray, there is a qua;ity setting...turn it up to production quality also turn on ray traCing options get to hyper dhader: windows>rendering editors>hypershade...then click on lights....material...etc.....raytracing is needed for reflections on lights in the side menu in maya there is depth map show attributes click" use depth map shadows" and turn filter size to "2"


remember outliner when paining
b, with pulling in and out makes brush size
visor is the third button from the left in paint effects
visor contains all the different paint tools


always start from thr drop down on the left

select geometry.....then click make paintable
then select brush from he visor

control h is hide

when using the texture w3indow...the incandescence allows u to use Special effects/glow intensity
brush profile in the right hand window, after selecting a painted item like a galaxy can change what you've already painted
control g is group for applying an effect to the group


outliner/display/shapes

mouse 3 plus control vertex is curve tool

insert changes pivot point when handling objects
soft select is the middle button in the top right


deformation tab, then click on the 2nd to bottom button to twist object


1 hrough 7 buttons change view

when using an incandescent object, hids source, under special effectsw makes it so you see the light but not the object

3d fluid container then presets...then select one and hit replace...then shadng in attribute editor


hen using the timeline......u can set a key by clicking mouse 3 in any field

create menu///camers/cameras and aim

any object..press s

in the view port....pane;s/perspective switches to camera view

click on the timeliune where i want the camera motion to start and then press s to set
must have camera selected to do this.........
